PINAYKEYPOINT.ORG has doable missions and we are trying to realize these missions using our own resources and skills. Every member of the organization are giving their contributions to ensure that we achieve a measurable result.
1. To create employment and job opportunities to local villages and indigenous communities particularly the Aeta tribe. This mission is gradually realized when we organized the Pinaykeypoint Team and we started organizing trips to Mount Pinatubo and Zambales area. We trained and hired local indigenous people or the Aetas as trail guides and porters giving them the opportunity to have a seasonal job during summer where tourists are booking trips on daily basis.
2. To open the doors of the local communities and create a welcoming atmosphere both to local and foreign visitors through village immersions and overnight stay with the Aeta communities. These efforts will make them learn our ways, culture, traditions and beliefs. with these, we will be able to enhance friendship and camaraderie bringing community relationships to the next level.
This mission was gradually realized when we launched Aeta village immersions and we encouraged both local and foreign nationals to do this kind of activity. We are also conducting Feeding and gift giving programs. Individual and groups from various sectors are visiting Aeta villages and bringing foods and supply, new or used materials and clothing for adults and education materials and toys for the kids.
3. To Launch Medical Missions for the local communities and villages by coordinating with medical sectors who are supporting this mission.
4. To give Training programs in the future that will enhance their knowledge especially those communities in the remote areas.
5. To promote cleanliness campaigns and environmental protection awareness.
6. To promote Tree Planting activities. This is already an on-going program. We are providing 1 seedling per team and we included this as part of their itinerary.
We accept the following:
1. Seed donations
2. Clothing (used or new)
3. Education materials (used or new)
4. Food supply (rice, groceries)
5. Medicines
6. Products for personal hygiene (soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, detergent soap and powder, alcohol etc..)
7. Toys (old or new)
8. And other form of help to realize these missions.
